Refund Policy

StandOUT is committed to delivering high-quality, impactful programs. We understand that sometimes plans change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding payments and refund eligibility for our workshops, including the StandOUT Job Readiness Program (SOJRP).

 

1. General Policy

Payments made for SOJRP and any related StandOUT events or services are generally non-refundable, except in limited circumstances as outlined below. All participants are encouraged to review program details carefully before completing registration and payment.

 

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be issued only under the following circumstances:

a) Program Cancellation by StandOUT: If StandOUT cancels or postpones a program and you are unable to attend the rescheduled session, you are eligible for a full refund.

b) Duplicate or Erroneous Payments: If a participant accidentally makes a duplicate payment or is charged in error, we will process a full refund of the excess amount upon request and verification.

c) Special Consideration Requests: Refund requests based on exceptional personal or medical circumstances must be submitted in writing and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval is at the sole discretion of the StandOUT administrative team.

 

3. Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

a) Change of mind or failure to attend the program after registration

b) Late arrival or missed sessions due to scheduling conflicts

c) Dissatisfaction with content if the program was delivered as advertised

 

4. Substitutions and Transfers

In place of a refund, participants may:

a) Transfer their registration to a future cohort of the same program (within 30 days), subject to availability

b) Nominate another person to take their place, if requested at least 48 hours before program start

 

5. Partial Refunds

a) Prorated Refunds: For eligible scenarios as outlined in Section 2, if a participant has already attended a portion of a multi-session program before an approved refund situation occurs, StandOUT may issue a prorated refund based on the number of sessions already delivered.

b) Administrative Fee: All approved refunds, except in cases of program cancellation by StandOUT or erroneous charges, are subject to a 15% administrative processing fee.

c) Program Materials: If physical or digital materials have been provided to the participant and cannot be returned or revoked, their value may be deducted from the refund amount.

 

6. Refund Currency

All refunds will be processed in the original currency of payment. Any bank transfer fees or currency conversion charges incurred during the refund process may be deducted from the refund amount.

 

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or program transfer, email us at registrations@learnhowtostandout.com with:

  • Full name
  • Payment reference or receipt
  • Reason for request
  • Supporting documents (if applicable)


Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the issue arising.

 

8. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, PayNow, or bank transfer).

 

9. Policy Modifications

StandOUT reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is the responsibility of participants to review this policy periodically for changes.
